We recently surveyed my community and asked the question — do you know what perimenopause is?
More than half of the women had never heard of it! This is such an important stage in your body, and it’s completely misunderstood — because it’s really not talked about.
So, in today’s podcast episode I’m sharing with you another masterclass episode, which is the Perimenopause-Menopause Project. In my last few years of practice, I’ve come face-to-face with the reality for most women and girls: they know very little about their bodies.
The problems arising during perimenopause and menopause show up and catch us off guard, since we’re not taught this very important fact — how you treat your body during your cycling years is what sets you up for perimenopause and menopause.
During this episode, I’m giving you some context around the emotions that you’re feeling — this is not just “in your head”. This is a physical, physiological, a biological and a chemical response that’s happening in your body, and it’s showing up in how you feel, look, move, sleep and be in your life.
