My Healthy, Hearty Hormone Balancing Bowl — Green, Lean & Freakin’ Supreme

My love for bowls that are quick, simple and nutrient dense runs deeeep!!

As a busy Mama and entrepreneur — if it takes more than 30 min to prep — chances are I’m not making it! That’s why all of my recipes are quick to make, and pretty much all include my ‘chuck-it-in’ philosophy.

Chuck-it-in is a style of cooking where you take a peak in your fridge, grab a little of this and a little of that, and toss it together to make a beauty creation like the one I’m about to share below. 

My bowls are first and foremost packed with leafy greens and vegetables.

I’m finding that many women and girls are getting caught up in the KETO + PALEO diet craze, but excluding one of the most fundamental healing aspects of any diet….veggies!!! Veggies should be at the top of your healing protocol because they are packed with fibre and micro nutrients that your body and hormones require to thrive. 

This recipe below is one from my newest cookbook The Simplicity Body.

Green, Lean, and Freakin’ Supreme — Serves 1

• 1 cup sautéed greens

• 1 cup fresh greens

• ½ cup Roasted broccoli, leeks and zucchini

• 1/2 – 1 full avocado

• ½ cup Broccoli Sprouts

• 1 Grated Carrot

• 2 eggs, cooked in ghee

1. Sautée your greens and broccoli, leeks and zucchini, in ghee or avocado oil.

2. Fry up two eggs, cooked in ghee. 

3. Layer the fresh ingredients into your bowl and add the sautéed veggies on top. 

4. Top with eggs and a pinch of sea salt.
