Welcome back to The Simplicity Sessions, I’m delighted that you’ve joined us today. My name is Jenn Pike, your host, Functional Diagnostic Nutritionist, Registered Holistic Nutritionist  and Medical Exercise Specialist. I specialize in women’s health and hormones and am the creator of the revolutionary women’s health courses; The Hormone Project and Synced.

In this episode, I am joined by one of our Hormone Project coaches, Jill Kay. Jill is a Functional Nutritionist and owner of Down to Earth Wellness. She helps outdoorsy women beat burnout so that they can feel more energized, calm and get back to the adventures that feed their soul.

Today, Jill and I have an in depth conversation regarding adrenal health, burnout and how you can support your body. In the past, Jill struggled with her own health issues such as headaches, digestive issues and hormonal issues followed by burnout. That combined with witnessing her mothers auto immune health struggles along with her health proactivity, contributed to Jill’s interest in pursuing a career in the health and wellness field.

If you have a question for me and my team, send it over to hello@jennpike.com or via Instagram at @jennpike and I’ll do my best to share helpful insights, thoughts and advice.

Jill Kay is a Functional Nutritionist and owner of Down to Earth Wellness. She helps outdoorsy women beat burnout so that they can feel more energized, calm and get back to the adventures that feed their soul.

Jill combines a functional nutrition and science approach. She offers 1 on 1 coaching as well as online workshops.

Jill was born and raised in the Yukon and grew up on an elk farm. She grew up surrounded by nature and animals and lived a life that included hunting/fishing, gardening and living off the land to some extent.

In the past, Jill struggled with her own health issues such as headaches, digestive issues and hormonal issues followed by burnout. That combined with witnessing her mothers auto immune health struggles along with her health proactivity, contributed to Jill’s interest in pursuing a career in the health and wellness field.

Jill recently moved to BC to try it out and escape the long Yukon winters. When she’s not working with clients or creating helpful online content, you can find her out hiking in the forest with her dog Garvey or hanging at home (introverting).
