I was on different versions of the birth control pill for about 7 years. I reacted horribly to one prescription, but when I talked to my doctor about it, I felt like I wasn’t heard. I had to advocate for myself and it worked.

But then, years later, I realized that I didn’t have all the information to be a true advocate for my holistic health. Why didn’t I have all the information when I was first going on this medication?

So this episode is for anyone who is an advocate and who is supporting someone coming off the pill for any reason.

Here are the main topics of this simplicity bite:

  • Dietary considerations that may help
  • Recommended supplements
  • Science behind chemical bleeds
  • What to expect from the body when it stops getting the pill
  • How to reframe the way we think about the triggers that put us on the pill in the first place

Hoping this episode supports you on the path of knowing, accepting, and loving who you truly are. Wishing more simplicity and ease in all that you do!

For some women, it can take six months or sometimes up to a year for their body to reregulate and move through all of the chemical hormones that have really been running the show”

The opportunity to work with someone can absolutely change the life you’re living”

if you’re ever working with a doctor or a practitioner in any capacity that makes you feel bad or shamed or embarrassed, that’s not appropriate. Fire them.”
