This week, we are diving into the third part of the series about the Seven Most Common Imbalances in a Woman’s Body, and today’s topic is all about Progesterone and Ovulation.

Not so long ago women’s period was recognized as the fifth vital sign, and doctors were instructed to ask girls and women about their periods as an indicator of their overall health. The truth is that even with these medical advances, women still don’t receive proper instruction about their bodies. If we were empowered as women we wouldn’t be suffering so much, women are struggling, and this is the whole reason I created an entire program, masterclasses, and series to educate women about what has been happening to their bodies since the beginning of time.

Here are the main topics of this third piece of a series meant for every woman:

  • The functions of progesterone.
  • Are you making enough progesterone?
  • The luteal phase is the only time when we make progesterone.
  • What happens when you have PCOS?
  • The truth about what happens to your body when you are on birth control and what can happen when you get off the pill.
  • Signs and symptoms of progesterone deficiency.
  • Understanding your cervical mucus.
  • Testing for progesterone deficiency.
  • How to detect ovulation.
  • When to think about starting bioidentical hormone therapy.
  • How can you make more progesterone?
  • Your period is a beautiful gift!
  • How can you support a healthy level of progesterone?
  • Baseline supplements.
  • Reduce your stress! Repeat the things that make you feel good.
  • You know it because you feel it!

Hoping this episode helps you to approach the healing of your hormones with more compassion and more understanding. Keep showing up for yourself! Wishing more simplicity and ease in all that you do!

I wanted to share my recipe for the amazing Warm Mug of Yum that I am drinking while recording this episode. Here are the ingredients:

Blend and enjoy!

I also wanted to share what we used as Halloween makeup remover with my children. I used an organic cotton pad with some Soothe from Skin Essence Organics and I also put some on their faces, and I very gently got it all off! Soothe was my choice since its ingredients help ease irritated skin and I have to confess it worked beautifully!
