The root of who you are is in your digestive system, your gut, your microbiome. If you want to understand your health you need to start with your gut, by asking the right questions, and listening to the messages your body is giving you.

The entire digestive system works like an orchestra, to break down the food that we consume and to absorb the nutrients in it and remove the waste out of the system. If any part of the digestive system is not working right , another part will have to take care of this function.

What are the signs that your gut is giving when it’s not working properly? Gas, burping, bloating, indigestion, pain, discomfort on the left and right, lower intestinal pain, reflux, acidity, exhaustion, headache, anxiety, hyperactivity, constipation, diarrhea… this is not ok! How did this happen? The over sanitizing of our lives, processed food, chemicals and preservatives, GMOs, medications, stress, too much alcohol, coffee, food sensitivities…your digestive system can even be irritated by your personal care products!

Fast tip: These are the foundational supplements that all humans need: Vitamin D, Omega 3 fatty acids, Magnesium, Whole Food Complex, and Probiotics.

What about leaky gut? In this episode I explain to you in detail how it starts, which are the biggest signs of a leaky gut and how it progresses until your immune system gets exhausted. A leaky gut can also be the origin of autoimmune illnesses.

Learn to identify how your bowel movements are talking about your gut health.

Check for these four areas for your own personal symptomatology: How is your: Mood, Poop, Sleep and Skin (Just as you would with a baby!).

So, what do you do now??!! First: remove what is irritating your system, second choose your food wisely, third: Repair the damage, take supplements, spices and add nutrients, and fourth: Rebuild. It is not going to be easy, we have to be strong and start small, one step at the time.
