Ep #95 | What the Pandemic Has Taught Me
This is the first episode of a four-part series that I am putting together for you. I have been hearing from many women who are, like myself, very ambitious and driven, women who have set many goals and ideas that they want to put into action but simultaneously feel overwhelmed and stuck.
I usually see women going through two different scenarios. In the first, they feel overwhelmed which leads to becoming paralyzed and subsequently causes an inability to get things accomplished. In the second scenario, women tend to become busy and overloaded, they just keep saying ‘yes’ to ever more tasks and endeavors, and even though this can feed our dopamine — making us feel stronger and ambitious — as an immediate result comes the crush, and the feelings of exhaustion and depletion.
Believe me, I have been there so many times, I have felt this fear of ´missing out on an opportunity that might not come back again’. I recognized I struggled to finally realize that these opportunities (if they are really meant to be the ones that will propel you to the next level at a personal or professional level) will present themselves again or something even better will come your way.
The pandemic has been teaching me a lot. Literally from one day to the next, my entire routine changed. Being with my children 24/7 has forced me to pay less attention to my work and health care: I found myself falling back into old habits that did not serve me. The pandemic has revealed some blind spots in all the several roles I play in my life and has taught me where my focus needs to be: ‘Body first, business second.’
This episode contains an explanation of what you are going to be listening to in this four-part series. Here are the main topics of this awesome series:
- Realizing the overwhelm we are immersed in.
- How to prioritize and manage your energy and intentions wisely.
- Learning to reset your system.

- The importance of building a team that allows you to reach your amazing goals and dreams.
- Create a lifestyle by design.
- Learn to nourish your body.
