Welcome back to The Simplicity Sessions, I’m delighted that you’ve joined us today. My name is Jenn Pike, your host, Functional Diagnostic Nutritionist, Registered Holistic Nutritionist  and Medical Exercise Specialist. I specialize in women’s health and hormones and am the creator of the revolutionary women’s health courses; The Hormone Project and Synced.

In this episode, I am  joined by the amazing Kate Davy. Kate is the oldest of 4 children and has been pretty Type A her entire life. She grew up with a mother who was prepared for everything (could feed 15 kids on a dime, pack up and leave for a long weekend at a moment’s notice, and if the power ever went out, she could quickly navigate her way through the house in the pitch black to grab candles and flashlights – she had a system for everything). And when Kate became a mother, she naturally followed in her footsteps.

After meeting her now husband and blending their family of six, Kate had to get creative with organization and storage within their little home. Especially when it came to dedicating space for prepping.

From the basement playroom and makeshift pantry to every square inch of the garage – each room had to serve more than one purpose, which meant all of their things needed to be part of a system while still being accessible to everyone.

Yet in the frenzy of overhauling our home, Kate realized that she was in heaven! Purging and donating and shuffling things around to find the best possible solution became an obsession and she was completely in her element. Kate discovered that she could help other people to do the same things and thus – The Missing Link.
