Welcome back to The Simplicity Sessions, I’m delighted that you’ve joined us today. My name is Jenn Pike, your host, registered holistic nutritionist, medical exercise specialist, the best-selling author of the Simplicity Project and the creator of the women’s revolutionary health program, The Hormone Project.

I recently had some great success and I found that I had trouble giving myself permission to celebrate. I thought through all the different ways I celebrate such as travelling, buying expensive things, or having a nice dinner. The world is not as open to travel these days and I am living more minimalistically, so buying nice things does not match my lifestyle.

I came to the conclusion that I can feel luxury in a different way to celebrate my successes. I feel luxurious when I can be alone, when I am up before anyone else, when I’m eating well and moving, when I can spend time with my family, and when I am rested.

The entire situation got me thinking about the time I went to a ceremony. It was the most powerful, quiet feeling that I have ever had. The quiet space spoke to me so much without any noise. I only went with one friend so I didn’t know anyone else. I was able to feed off of the energy and wisdom of the other women at the ceremony and I was inspired to define in writing what feeling successful, abundant, luxurious, and wealthy means to me.

If you have a question for me and my team, send it over to hello@jennpike.com or via Instagram at @jennpike and I’ll do my best to share helpful insights, thoughts and advice.

  • I’m working to really try to embrace is the embodiment of this beautifully audacious woman that I have been becoming. “
