I recorded this episode for you! I have noticed a great increase in the consumption of alcohol in women in my life and practice due to the amount of stress, just as a result of life happening in 2020. Alcohol consumption creates a domino effect on our health, causing other struggles. When we drink too much, we tend to eat too much and we are often directed to foods that don’t honor or nourish our bodies, we can have interrupted sleep patterns, we can also notice more inflammation and gut issues, and even weight gain.

I want to bring awareness to this topic that seems to be normalized.

Here are the main topics of today’s episode:

  • Why does alcohol impact women differently than men?
  • Alcohol contributes to massive oxidative stress.
  • Increasing levels of alcohol impact your gut microbiome.
  • Your symptoms are a result of your decisions.
  • Alcohol contributes to more toxicity in your liver.
  • Are you supporting your body to detoxify?
  • Increased alcohol will impact your relationship with cortisone and cortisol.
  • Why do you drink?
  • Tips and suggestions to limit alcohol consumption.
  • How to clean up the sneaky triggers.

At the end of the day, everything comes down to you, your habits and lifestyle decisions. Make conscious choices. Wishing more simplicity and ease in all that you do!
