Managing how we react to certain situations is a life-long work in progress. Learning to become proactive instead of reactive is a challenge that most of us face on a day to day basis, especially when we are running low on sleep, and our defences are down. Our ability to adapt to stress diminishes when we are tired or over-worked.

But what about our little ones? As kids grow up in this day, they are being constantly stimulated by screens – TV, tablets, phones and computers – which not only surround them, but will become a big part of their future and learning. This often leads to a vicious cycle of stimulation, where they begin to experience powerful emotions when they are NOT being stimulated. The wide range of emotions that children experience often leads to meltdowns over small things, and there comes a point where they just wont listen to what Mom or Dad have to say.
That is where Mickey Eves comes in. This week on Simplicity TV we have our guest expert, Mickey Eves and she introduces one of her most successful tools for helping children manage their emotions, so they can channel their imagination and curiosity and turn it into confidence, so they can express themselves without having a total meltdown!
