For as long as I can remember, I have exercised and since my very early teens, eaten very healthy – and in spite of this I still had cellulite. It was beyond frustrating to me. I had this belief, this impression in my head, that if I was working in the fitness industry; personal training and teaching classes that I should have no cellulite.
I have had MANY discussions with friends, clients and colleagues about my cellulite dilemma. We share our smooth move stories about the cover ups we’d use but we could never seem to solve the problem.
I remember the feeling of wanting to walk away from my husband with pride… and have my fabulous cellulite-free ass staring back at him. You know what I mean right?
I have been with my husband for nearly 19 years and up until only a few years ago, until I applied what I am going to teach you into my own life, I had never walked away from him naked without facing him and chatting him up; he would respond every time by saying, “ I know what your doing and I think your crazy, you’re beautiful – just turn around!”
Now listen, I know what some of you may thinking, “are you friggin’ kidding me? Your writing a sob story about being thin and having some cellulite and how you didn’t feel confident about it?”
But YES, I am and it has nothing to do with my weight or what I may have looked like wearing clothes to other people. My weight on the scale didn’t factor into my lack of self-esteem. I felt so disgusting underneath my clothes. I was SO sick of the feeling, and so I decided to put an end to it. I hit the books and discovered the true root cause of cellulite. Now having coached countless clients my approach to busting cellulite for good, I feel confident sharing my philosophy with you.
