She explains that this decision was prompted by her body’s need for a change, as she had been pushing herself hard for the past year and a half. Jenn notes that this decision is not just about physical recovery, but also about mental and emotional rejuvenation. She emphasizes the importance of recognizing the signs of adrenal fatigue, such as physical and mental exhaustion, and taking steps to reduce stress and toxicity in one’s life. Jenn also shares her personal experience of feeling the need for a de-load, and how it has shifted her focus from building muscle to optimizing recovery and mobility. She encourages listeners to reflect on their own needs and consider taking a de-load period if they feel the need for it.
