Open Your Heart and Get Ready for School Time
It’s Cut the B.S Wednesday and I have a couple of things to share with you today. First I want to show you how to open up your heart and your chest using one of my all time favourite fitness tools – the Coregeous Ball. Spend just 7 minutes with me today, and feel the difference it makes when you take time to open up your chest area. Your posture shifts, your spine lengthens and your shoulders drop immediately afterward. You can inhale deeply and sigh it out ladies – I know, stressful times are upon us cause IT’S BACK TO SCHOOL!
Yesterday over at CHCH Morning Live we shared some simple tips for fast tracking your morning, so you can walk out the door satiated and ready for your day. Keep your energy up so you can keep up with your kids in the morning! The first weeks back are always the most difficult, so here are a couple back to school tips to add more simplicity and ease into your routine.
- Have a Morning Elixir! Mix this into your coffee OR my favourite way to drink it, mix it into your Dandy Blend. This elixir (recipe below) packs 10 grams of protein! This is perfect start to your morning, so you can keep up with the kids and get them and yourself out the door on time.
- Follow your elixir with a Chocolate Banana Smoothie – use cocoa powder in your smoothie and blend it the night before. Recipe below.
- I 100% recommend the planet box to pack your kids lunches. Not only is it a simple visual, but most importantly its just ONE CONTAINER TO CLEAN! Uh, less dishes?! Yes Please
- Plan quick and easy dinners. Don’t try something you’ve never tried the same week you are getting back into your school routine. Keep it simple and try a homemade frittata.
