Joy loves social media and shares her passion for food, family and fun as a way to channel positive energy into the lives of others.

Joy shares her passion about the relationship between the gut microbiome and  your overall health. Recent research shows that we are more bacteria than we are human, that is why taking care of these bacteria has a vital importance.

The foundations of good gut health start with regular bowel movements which are essential for keeping hormone balance, as they directly contribute to hormone detoxification.

There are many key foods that are very effective at supporting the body’s natural detoxification process, like kale, cabbage, arugula, broccoli, cauliflower, and sea vegetables which protect the liver. A healthy diet should include  vegetables and fruits rich in fiber like spinach, apples, pears and green beans. The variety of these healthy foods makes a difference in assisting the detoxification of your systems. If you’ve experienced problems digesting raw foods, Joy also gives her best tips on how to start introducing them back into your diet.

Joy shares how the skin, as the largest channel of elimination, can be cared in different ways:

  • dry brushing,
  • showering the right way in order to protect your skin microbiome
  • and getting rid of the beauty products that are adding toxins and chemicals instead of enhancing your natural beauty and health.

Joy, as a mother and an entrepreneur, has to juggle and sort her way through the daily chaos to create space for her own health, and in this episode she is giving out the best tips for real, strong, loving, sensitive and creative women to live their lives in a joyful and healthy way.

Wishing you more simplicity and ease in all that you do!
