I know how many of you wake on Monday SO EXCITED to start your day…NOT.

It’s time to be done with the Monday Blah’s, and take on a whole new mindset, startingJuly 4thMonday Morning’s in the summer can feel extra BLAH, because you begin to think about all of the other fun stuff you could be doing, if only you were free from having to go to work or tend to your adult responsibilities. After all, it’s summer time and the weather is fine! That is WHY we created this series for you.

I want to inspire you to start to shift your mindset from a place of constant “go-go-go”, to a place of simplicity. This series was created for you to give you short snippets of inspiration (5 minutes or less) about how you can shift your mindset moving forward.

To introduce Mindset Monday’s, I want to share a new concept with you – the concept of waking up on Monday morning, and instead of focusing on all the things you have to check off of your to do list, begin to focus on all the things you are GRATEFUL for. It can be as small as “I am grateful I didn’t lose my shit yesterday” or as big “I am grateful for my beautiful family”. This small and simple shift in your mindset can become a game changer. When you begin your morning cool and collected, this sets a foundation for the rest of your day. Somedays, you will still lose your cool, but the more you practice this simple habit, the easier it will become for you to keep your peace. No one likes to feel unglued and disorganized, especially on Monday.

My challenge to you is this, instead of hitting the snooze button, wake up 10 minutes earlier and carve out this time to create a new routine. DONT check your phone, DONT review your to do list. Give your body a stretch, have a sip of water and simply focus on a few things that you are grateful for.

I will start – I AM GRATEFUL to live in this beautiful, amazing country.
