You love salty or a crunchy…some of you – slightly more challenging may love both – but either way your goal is not to ignore your cravings, it is to give in intelligently.

I was turned onto kale chips a few years back by a girlfriend of mine whose kids were allergic to potatoes and she wanted to find a great flavored substitute; she gave me a sample and I was hooked!

Kale chips are low in fat, vitamin and mineral packed and a cinch to make. You can buy them at many health food stores but making your own is more cost-effective and you can choose your own seasoning!

Wash and dry a bunch of kale. Tear leaves into bite-sized pieces; toss with tbsp of olive oil and tsp of sea salt. Spread in a single layer on a parchment-lined cookie sheet and bake at 350′ until the edges are brown.

Give them a try a few times before you decide to love or leave the Kale chips; options are good so keep yours open:)

Have some crunchy yummo fun!
